NuCellSys wins F-Cell Award Gold 2007.

On the occasion of the f-cell symposion 2007 on September 24th in Stuttgart, NuCellSys was awarded the “f-cell award Gold” for their contribution of a “reliable refrigeration start of a fuel cell system for use in passenger cars”. Due to extensive tests and associated engineering during their current product development work, NuCellSys succeeded in understanding the workings of the refrigeration process to an extent that allowed the team to convert this knowledge into a reliable starting procedure suitable for use in a vehicle.  

The jury rated NuCellSys' achievement as a further important milestone on the path towards a marketable fuel cell vehicle and, accordingly, awarded it first prize in the competition “Innovationspreis Brennstoffzelle 2007” (fuel cell innovation award 2007). The f-cell award is awarded annually by the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of the Environment and Wirtschaftsförderung Region Stuttgart GmbH, an organisation promoting economic growth in greater Stuttgart.
