An alliance for technological progress and sustainable mobility
NuCellSys is a part of the Fuel Cell Alliance between Daimler, Ford Motor Company, and AFCC (Automotive Fuel Cell Cooperation).
For technology development, each alliance partner concentrates on its core competencies.
AFCC (Automotive Fuel Cell Cooperation) develops and Ballard Power Systems manufactures the fuel cell stacks.
NuCellSys develops the functional and peripheral components necessary for supplying the fuel cell stacks with hydrogen and oxygen as well as controls hardware and strategies, deriving fuel cell system architectures for use in various vehicle platforms.
Daimler and Ford Motor Company specify the technical requirements for fuel cell systems and carry out the integration of the complete fuel cell power train into their vehicles.

Sustainable mobility – a global challenge Together with its alliance partners, NuCellSys faces up to the challenge and participates in a number of initiatives and programs in order to push fuel cell technology for automotive use even further. The objectives are efficient, zero-emission, and comfortable power trains to guarantee sustainable mobility.
